Latin America. In recognition of his work since 2011 with the company, Harmonic appointed Álvaro Martín as the new regional vice president of sales for Latin America.

Martin joined Harmonic in April 2011 and has led the company's sales teams in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Northern South America, most recently as Managing Director of Latin American Sales.
During his tenure, the company's business in these regions has grown significantly. Martin has more than 20 years of experience in the sales sector, and prior to joining Harmonic, he held sales management positions at Cisco, Scientific Atlanta and Lucent Technologies.
