NAB. As every year before NAB, Sony gives the recognition to its best distributor of 2013. This time, the one chosen was the company Data Serve, from Panama.
TV Y VIDEO spoke with Alessio Gronchi, president of the company, who said he was very happy for this recognition after thirteen years of being as a Sony distributor in Panama. And, also, because he will be able to go to see the final of the World Cup in Brazil, as part of the recognition.
"This is a recognition of a track record of good results. Although 2013 was not the best year in the region, due to the particular conditions of some countries that were the largest markets for Sony, we managed to have an important growth, selling equipment and systems of the latest technology, "said Grossi.
He also stressed that this award is very significant because it is for a distributor that belongs to a small market such as Panama, since it is usually received by distributors from large markets.
Alessio Gronchi has more than 30 years of experience in the television industry, both in front of and behind the cameras. Although he is Italian by birth, from the age of 14 he settled in Panama with his family, a country in which he has developed his entire professional career.
