Latin America. Andrew Nelles has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager in charge of sales in Sony's Central America, South America and Caribbean regions, as part of a process of restructuring the company from its Broadcast and Production Sales department.
The new manager has a vast track record with Sony in the professional streaming market, having joined the Sony Professional Products Company as Marketing Manager for professional audio products.
Subsequently, he was appointed Manager of the Professional Audio division of Sony Electronics. He started in the Latin America division of Sony with Sobec, as Director of Professional Audio, then moving to the video sector as Sales Manager and Marketing Manager of audio and video products.
In addition, as part of the restructuring, Andrew Nelles announced that Daniel McDonald has joined the sales staff as Systems Solutions Manager. Daniel began his career at Sony in the engineering department, before being promoted to Systems Solutions Marketing Manager.
In this regard, the new Senior Sales Manager assured that daniel's appointment will allow Sony PSLA to expand its Systems business in Latin America, one of the fastest growing business segments.
"Over the past two years, we've seen a demand for more turnkey solutions. We have successfully completed several projects in Latin America, such as Sky News in Mexico with an automated news system, the total update of the National Assembly in Ecuador in its Audio and Video Systems as well as several outdoor mobiles throughout Latin America, among other projects in which we have been the main contractor during Daniel's management," he added.
