Latin America. For the construction and maintenance of relations with broadcast companies in the region, the company Wohler Technologies appointed Edel García as sales director for Central and South America.
The new manager should increase awareness and adoption of the benefits of RadiantGrid,consulting on file-based workflow solutions for rapid content transformation for cross-platform distribution.
Don Bird, Wohler's Chief Marketing Officer, said: "Edel's leadership in this newly created role will be vitally important as we seek to increase Wohler's brand strength and market penetration for our rapidly expanding new product line in Central and South America."
Prior to joining Wohler, Garcia was Avid's Director of Sales, Latin America, where he was responsible for sales of the professional segment product line. He also served as Vice President of Sales for Latin America for Leitch and at Sony Business & Professional Latin America, holding positions in both engineering and, later, senior sales management.
Edel Garcia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Florida International University. Llamas Grace will continue in his role and responsibilities as Wohler's regional sales manager in the region. The company said the two will work closely together to expand the presence and better support its channel partners and customers in adopting their products.
