Latin America. Sony Professional Solutions launched to the Latin American market a new equipment of its XDCAM HD422 standard line, the new PMW-200 compact camcorder 4:2:2 of 50Mbps.
This new camera, which inherits the versatility of the PMW-EX1R model, is suitable for recording in difficult lighting conditions, due to its wide-angle lens and its three 1/2-inch Exmor CMOS sensors, generating full HD videos, thanks to its wide viewing angle and excellent sensitivity.
The PMW-200 offers a variety of recording formats including MXF 50Mbps/35Mbps, MP4 35Mbps/25Mbps and DVCAM, available for a wide range of applications and workflows.
It also offers slow and fast motion function that allows you to capture images at 1 fps up to 60 fps in 720p mode, and at 1 fps up to 30 fps in 1080p mode, giving users greater creative expression for their productions.
Angiecarla Eyzaguirre, Senior Marketing Manager of Sony Professional Solutions Latin America, said that "we are introducing to the market one of the most versatile handheld camcorders we have developed so far. The result for users is an agile and lightweight solution that meets their varied needs."
It also comes equipped with a 14x zoom lens and offers fully manual operation. The provided lens is equipped with three independent zoom rings, focus and iris adjustment, as well as greater precision of adjustments through the position indications of the rings that appear on the LCD screen.
The company reported that the product will be available on the market from September 15.
