International. Effective January 2, Bart Palmer will take over as CTO Chief Technology Officer of GlobeCast America. As announced by the company, it will be responsible for the management, implementation and development of technical facilities of the multinational, as well as satellite and terrestrial infrastructure.

The new executive, who has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, served as Senior VP of Global Media Engineering at Discovery Communications.
In addition, he has held executive positions in several organizations, including Liberty Sports, Fox Sports and MediaComm, and was part of the team that launched Home Sports Entertainment.
