Ready Academic Committee of TecnoTelevisión

altFive prominent members of the television industry are those who make up the Academic Committee of TecnoTelevisión 2012, Congress that this year will be held in Corferias, Bogotá, Colombia, on July 25 and 26.

Manuel Riveros, from Colombiana de Televisión; Fernando Campos, from Azteca Mexico; Yan Camilo Vergara, from Medellín Digital; Santiago Algorta, former director of TV and VIDEO; and Luis Fernando Gutiérrez, from the Pontifical Bolivarian University, are the professionals who together with the organizers of the Congress will design the academic program for this year.

Each of these professionals brings with him a wide trajectory in different areas of the television industry, knowledge that will be reflected in the selection of conferences focused on the training of industry actors, in aspects such as the transition process to digital television, and new markets and technologies with all that this contains in terms of equipment, administration and generation of content, costs and processes.

For Yan Camilo Vergara, participation in this committee implies a commitment to the national industry and its training, with the benefit that knowledge, advances and novelties of the sector are found in the same place and in Latin America.

Juan Pablo Mariño of Caracol Televisión, who attended the fourth version of TecnoTelevisión, reinforces Yan Camilo's postulate by saying that this is a space for study and technical knowledge for professionals in Colombia and the Andean region.

This version of the Congress seeks to continue providing conferences of the highest technical and conceptual quality so that television professionals in Latin America have the best option to train in their region.

We extend the invitation to all those involved with the industry to propose topics that they consider of interest to be developed within the Academic Programming of TecnoTelevisión, writing to the emails [email protected] and [email protected]
