ABonAir
ABonAir has developed a wireless control unit for Gras Valley cameras. In addition to compatibility with Sony and Panasonic CPUs, ABonAir wireless transmission systems now support the full protocol for all Grass Valley CCU models to operate a camera from a control room.
Camera control units, also called remote control panels, allow you to remotely set a video camera from a media center and send control signals to and from the camera. In productions with multiple cameras, the CCU allows you to monitor and synchronize all cameras in terms of color balance, image intensity, saturation and iris control.
The transmitters are fully automatic and do not need external components or configuration to support the specific CCU model or camera, supplementary antennas or different frequency allocations. The system uses the same frequency channel for the transmission of video, intercom and CCU signals, and automatically identifies the CCU model / protocol, making manual configuration unnecessary, replacing the need for CCU cables.
