The instantaneous technology, RTE (Real-Time Eye) accelerates physical layer testing and provides automated measurements and records of key parameters such as: upload time, descent time, delta, overdrive, sub-boost and cable length. The fluctuation analysis instrument allows an engineer to quickly analyze the nature of the fluctuations present using a graph of fluctuations as a function of time.
The SxE also now offers automatic detection of simple links of HD-based 3G and UHD formats. With simultaneous signal generation and analysis, its built-in basic toolset includes a multi-format waveform, a vectorscope and a video display, plus a data view and a VANC/ANC inspector. More than 350 formats are supported for compliance monitoring. Signal generation offers 32 testing patterns, including pathological ones.
The SxE has a TCP/IP interface for remote control, automated testing, engineering support, and fault analysis. A comprehensive status log with custom reports is also included, along with instrument image capture to simplify fault finding.
