Latin America. Zeiss announced the development of a new virtual lens technology that will allow visual effects and compositing artists to apply an authentic lens look in a single step.
This new technology replicates the visual features and animated behavior of real lenses in computer-generated content. It leverages the physical performance of the lenses to deliver true optical characteristics in the individual configuration of each frame within a sequence.
By being part of the CinCraft ecosystem, this new technology will strengthen the connection between production and post-production, allowing post-production professionals to communicate and apply the same visual language that cinematographers and filmmakers expect.
