The Connected Cam 500 and 900 series cameras now feature additional social media features with the latest firmware update, including SNS video streaming with vertical and square patterns in the viewfinder to ensure image capture suitable for a variety of platforms and devices.
With this update, JVC's 500 series cameras can also produce transmissions in vertical (606 x 1080 and 404 x 720) and square (1080 x 1080 and 720 x 720) formats. The new firmware also incorporates the Easy Setup YouTube Live feature, which not only provides direct capability to YouTube, but also allows users to schedule the stream with a specific start time.
The brand also adds easy setup functionality, allowing GY-HC500 users to stream to Facebook Live and YouTube Live with the click of a button. The firmware also incorporates the RTMPS protocol for its GY-HC900 cameras.
This feature makes it possible for announcers and sports teams, as well as event, business and venue coordinators to livestream special events, meetings, games and religious services to larger social networks more easily.
