xG Technology partners with Panasonic to integrate the external wireless HCAM IMT Vislink solution into the Panasonic Studio camera range, enabling greater fluidity in end-to-end video capture, transmission and reception for various broadcast applications.
In particular, Panasonic's AK-UC4000 camera will receive a software update in September 2018 that will include 4K output capability via one of the camera head's 12G-SDI outputs. By combining this camera, the AK-UC3000 or AK-HC5000 with the IMT Vislink HCAM transmitter, Full HD wireless video transmission is enabled, with 4K transmission.
The HCAM supports applications such as ENG and sports broadcasts, and comes with flexible and configurable mounting options and intuitive video interfaces.
This device features interchangeable and upgradeable SFP modules in the future that support quad/6/12G SDI/HDMI/Fiber Optic/SMPTE 2022-6 HD-SDI over IP interfaces, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control via Android and iOS apps.
