Canon has introduced the new CJ45ex9.7B and CJ45ex13.6B, two 2/3" ENG 4K broadcast lenses that stand out for their fast focus and improved image stabilization (IS).
They offer the high performance required to be used with 4K broadcast cameras, thanks to Canon's proprietary optical design technology. Fluorite lenses and Ultra Low Dispersion (UD) glass achieve high-quality 4K optics, from the central area of the image to the periphery for all zoom focals, while lens innovations ensure great sharpness and best-in-class aberration control.
These lenses are ideal for capturing 4K HDR images in virtually any environment, from close-ups to panoramic views of sports venues or concert venues. Both lenses are capable of offering a 45x zoom range and focal lengths from 9.7 mm to 437 mm and 13.6 mm to 612 mm, respectively. The built-in 2x multiplier doubles focal lengths, increasing the maximum tele focal length of the CJ45ex9.7B to 873 mm and the CJ45ex13.6B to 1,224 mm, increasing the possibilities of TELE recordings.
