Unimodal fiber optic transportThe Silverbullet™ Mini 3G HD/SDI fiber optic link, launched at InfoComm, is a two-part transceiver/receiver solution, designed to transmit SDI and HD-SDI TV signals over fiber optic unimodal cable; maintains signal quality from 5 Mbps to 3 Gbps. 7 cm long, it is recommended for various audiovisual and professional radio and television applications. Transmitter and receiver modules are portable and lightweight. They use LED indicators to digitally display system diagnostic information (power on, HD/SDI signal, and received optical power levels). With error-free pathological pattern operation, low oscillation and embedded audio support, it works at distances up to 30 km. It supports transmission by standards SMPTE 424M 2.97 Gbps, SMPTE 292M 1.485 Gbps and SMPTE 259M 270 Mbps in any format. It supports 5 to 16 volt CD voltage with four-pin XLR.
