MADRID, 29 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) -
Tecnocom's net profit stood at 1.6 million euros in the first half of the year, which represents an increase of 60% compared to the same period of the previous year, reported the technology firm.
The company's revenues amounted to 193.8 million euros, 11.4% more, thanks to the growth experienced in the Latin American market, whose progression exceeded 173% and which increases its weight on turnover to 15%. For its part, the domestic market has contributed positively to this growth with an increase in turnover of 5%.
Gross operating profit (EBITDA) increased by 16.5% to €9.2 million, while net operating profit (Ebit) grew by 27% to €4.7 million.
These improvements are due to the progressive variation of the regional and business revenue mix, the measures taken to improve efficiency in project management and the efforts made to contain structural costs.
Thus, the banking and insurance area represents 48% of all businesses, followed by industry, with 23%, the telecommunications and media segment, with 18% and the public administration area, with 10%.
Regarding net financial debt, it has gone from 51.7 million to 51.6 million euros and maintains the positive line in the collection days, which are reduced in 6 days compared to the end of 2010.
