Attendees of the 2010 edition of the CAPER exhibition, which will be held between October 27 and 29, will find a complete range of free seminars and workshops on digital film and TV. The commercial exhibition, on the other hand, will be composed of 97 exhibitors from all over the value chain of the sector.
Within the framework of CAPER 2010 , conferences, seminars and workshops will be held by important personalities of the audiovisual industry, such as cinematographers members of the ADF -Argentine Association of Authors of Cinematographic Photography- and SICA -Sindicato de la Industria Cinematográfica Argentina, among others.
Among the main conferences are:
• Sound for Cinema: experiences in the films "El secreto de sus ojos", "Igualita a mi" and others, by the sound artist José Luis Díaz.
• Seminar of Cinecolor Argentina. Part One: "Digital Intermediate: Data Capture. Some projects in Film, TV and advertising". Second part: "Restoration: Use of digital technology for restoration in the conservation of cinematographic heritage". "Revolución de Mayo: primera película plotal argentina". Director: Mario Gallo. In charge of: Beto Acevedo (Film Manager), Lucas Guidalevich (Post-Production Supervisor), Victor Vasini (Digital Intermediate Coordinator) of CINECOLOR.
• Interdisciplinary discussion table: how new technologies were changing the work in cinema, organized by SICA (Syndicate of the Cinematographic Industry) and in charge of directors, directors of photography, cameras and other professionals.
• Stereoscopic and new digital formats, by César Berrade and Alejandro Iturralde, from Che Revolutionpost.
• Management of documentaries for TV, by Verónica Fiorito, General Producer of Canal Encuentro.
• Financing and exploitation window for the documentary genre: experiences 2010, by Guillermo Rossi and Rodrigo Vila, from Plano Latino and Doc Meeting.
• Four talks organized by the ADF (Association of Cinematographic Directors of Photography): 3D Capture, Digital Projection, Digital Workflow and The Role of the HD Technician in all its extension.
• Talk on 3D animation, by the organizers of Expotoons.
• Informative talk on actions and content of the Audiovisual programs of the GCBA, by the Directorate of Cultural Industries of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
• Round table of broadcasters: the Digital TV standard one year after its adoption
