Brazil. Enensys Technologies will exhibit at SET Expo 2018 its latest developments in DTT network monetization and optimization technologies, as well as powerful updates to its ASI and IP switches for network redundancy and digital products.
Its well-known OneBeam solution guarantees the efficient delivery via satellite of digital television services through the ISDB-T/Tb network operated in MFN or SFN. In transmission centers, the TbEdge receives from a satellite input a standard MPEG-2 TS or a compressed BTS, performs SI processing, and generates a deterministic BTS stream to enable SFN transmission. The TbEdge supports the decoding function to combine DTH services and DTT services.
The solution now supports local ReMUX features. At the transmission center, the TbEdge can repeat a second input with the national satellite transmission to build a new local multiplex composed of national services and local content for the transmission of MFN and SFN. The TbEdge performs DVB-SI processing to update DVB-SI data related to local content.
Enensys will also introduce its comprehensive Targeted Control Insertion solution that aims to generate additional revenue by providing TV access to local or regional brands. Operating at the edge of the network, AdsEdge is a sleek server and splicer that allows you to insert local file-based content into the national service for DTT and cable networks (usually announcements, news, weather).
At SET, Enensys will present its 2:1 and 3:1 ASI or IP switch solution to ensure the availability of services without any impact on the consumer. The solution provides complete network and equipment redundancy for any standard digital television product and distribution network.
The ASIIPGuard is Enensys' ASI switch with IP capabilities. It offers the possibility to change 2 or 3 fonts. You can also perform BTS conversion from ASI to IP and from IP to ASI by controlling packet loss and IP jittering.
The IPGuardV2 aims to provide redundancy between IP streams. One unit can handle the redundancy of up to 6 TSoIP streams and up to 60 IP streams. It supports SMPTE 2022-7 to provide seamless switching of redundant RTP streams.
