Metadata helps to have more income to video distributors

Mexico. Metadata has become key to the growth of video distributors, because thanks to them they will be able to increase consumption among users of different platforms – personal computers, tablets and smartphones – by knowing their use preferences. 

In addition, according to the most recent report of the company Ooyala, they will be able to increase the possibility of generating income, they can also through them, improve performance, increase engagement, make content more efficient and save costs.

But what is metadata?
Metadata, also known as metadata, is something like data, it is the information contained in the elements that describe a file. While metadata is a part that users don't see, it's the one that best describes our routine in the digital world.
