Brazil. At this year's SET Expo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, EVS will be demonstrating the latest in live production solutions that offer the most engaging programming of the world's largest events.
It will present its XT4K live production server, evS's first XT server model designed specifically to be deployed in UHD-4K live workflows. The XT4K offers flexible connectivity – 12G-SDI on a single cable, four-link 3G-SDI and native IP – plus increased channel density with four uncompressed UHD-4K I/O channels and 12 or more HD/1080p channels. With this kind of flexibility, the server can be deployed in any production, regardless of the technical infrastructure.
EVS will also showcase the creative capabilities of the software-defined DYVI live video switch. With a fully pre-programmable user interface, operators can switch between pre-made production configurations at the touch of a button. DYVI's technical architecture makes it perfect for deployment in any type of live production workflow, from sports to live entertainment television and in stadiums and other venues.
More recently, the live production switcher has been installed by Casablanca Online for RecordTV's reality show A Fazenda. Two switches are used here: the first for a one-hour evening TV show and the other for full 24-hour coverage of program participants.
SET Expo is the main media technology and content production fair for the Latin American region. It is held between August 21 and 24 at the North Pavilion and the Sao Paulo Convention Center. EVS will be present at booth number 24a.
