Vidiexco sponsors workshops on lighting and HDR

Mexico. The well-known expert of the audiovisual industry, José Luis Támez, from Cinedigital.TV, will moderate a series of free workshops, presented by Vidiexco and its network of distributors, with the aim of bringing customers and interested parties, a current vision on trends in lighting technology and the greatest advances in high dynamic range, HDR.

These workshops, in face-to-face and streaming modalities (online), will be offered free of charge from a penthouse-suite, and within the framework of the Film, Video and Television Expo 2017, from July 12 to 14 in Mexico City, and will have a good representation of the brands distributed by Vidiexco and its network of more than 300 resellers in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The CTO of Vidiexco, Daniel Cadavieco, commented that the industry in Latin America is always eager to learn, and more so when technology is constantly evolving. "Many users like to update themselves and learn more about the new features to understand how to take advantage of them in their projects," he said when presenting the workshops.

"Sometimes technological changes can overwhelm, either because of how advanced the jump is or because of how complex it seems.  And the best way to break those myths, or minimize the fear of adopting the changes, is through workshops or talks to introduce these improvements and share experiences among the manufacturer, experts and users," he continued.

He said the workshops will focus on new lighting technologies, based on LED technology and HDR acquisition and production. "These workshops will be aimed at end users, industry professionals who wish to update, and/or amateurs who wish to learn and learn about the latest developments."

He commented that "in terms of LED lighting, Litepanels has continued to develop new solutions, with more light power, more efficient, less heavy, more robust and with greater creative capabilities of light control"

On the contents of the HDR workshop, he referred as an example the solutions of SONY, SmallHD and ATOMOS, adding that "Sony helps us to take advantage of this trend that came to stay and be able to register and deliver a better dynamic range".
