International. AJA Video Systems released RovoControl v2.0 software and RovoRx-SDI receiver. RovoControl v2.0, which adds multicam configuration and control, as well as several workflow enhancements to the RovoCam HDBaseT camera ecosystem. RovoRx-SDI is a companion receiver for RovoCam with four built-in 6G/3G-SDI outputs and an UltraHD-compatible HDMI output.
The RovoControl v2.0 software update offers updated multi-camera control for RovoCam and new presets and features for increased productivity in ProAV, industrial, corporate, security and traditional emissions environments. RovoRx-SDI is an UltraHD/HD HDBaseT receiver add-on for RovoCam that expands workflow options for RovoCam customers.
Key features of RovoControl v2.0 include:
- Easier multi-camera setup and control for up to eight RovoCams
- Preset control for simple recovery and the ability to share presets between RovoCams including ePTZ settings
- Greater color control and white balance for users, improving the ability to match other cameras
- Improves auto and manual focus options
- New low delay mode improves latency and eliminates image stabilization during use
- Gamma detail settings and visibility enhancer added to the user interface
- Improved UART/RS-232 support on third-party RS-232 adapters
For its part, the main features of the RovoRx-SDI are:
- Four 6G/3G-SDI outputs supporting 6G/3G/1.5G with built-in audio
- DA mode to distribute multiple 6G/3G-SDI signals from an HDBaseT source
- HDMI output compatible with UltraHD and HD resolutions
- Frame synchronization integration ensuring stable video output
- USB port for software configuration
- Power over HDBaseT (PoH), allowing RovoCam to be remotely powered from its physical location
