Colombia. Colmundo Radio has carried out a powerful technological renewal, migrating from analog to digital technology with important brands in the market. A German-made DHD digital console, model 52-SX of 16 Fader, has been installed in its Master Studio in Bogotá, with a large pool of inputs and outputs that allows them to make audio routing on the same console, complementing its operation with the robust XFRAME RADIO System for its broadcasts nationwide.
This renovation has as its main operational advantage to control centrally in its new studios in Bogotá the pattern and production of its 9 remote stations through the XF-NET module of the XFRAME system. This system is extended with several modules or licenses of XF-NEWS that corresponds to a news editor that will allow the news service of the Radio Network to prepare its informative scripts, including both the text to be read and the pre-recorded audios related to said reports.
Likewise, for their national links, both audio distribution and contributions from each city to Bogotá for their national broadcast, they have acquired the outstanding Prontonet audiocoders from the Spanish firm Prodys, including Colmundo Radio in the multiple world references of this brand, using for their commercial, informative and sports remotes the portable audiocoder Nómada IP XL.
In its Production/Submaster studio, an Airence USB console of the D&R firm has been installed, completing 12 Fader in total, expandable even to 18 triple input channels, as a unique feature of this renowned Dutch brand, also configured to be a backup of the main broadcast from Bogotá.
Its two main studios are aesthetically highlighted also by the equalizable microphone bases of the German firm Yellowtec, providing this national chain with the best technological infrastructure for its broadcasting studios.
This installation was completed in conjunction with the commercial and engineering area of both Aspa Andina and the national integrators Prointel Colombia.
