Latin America. Brainstorm Multimedia launched its new After Effects Tracking Exporter application, for Adobe After Effects, in conjunction with the CameraTracker plug-in from The Foundry. This application facilitates the generation of videos with tracking for use in augmented reality with Infinity Set, the application to create virtual environments.
The video tracking process consists of an image analysis that allows to extract the position and rotation information of the camera with which the video was recorded. From a video tracked in After Effects using the aforementioned CameraTracker plug-in, the new Brainstorm After Effects Tracking Exporter generates a new video with the tracking information integrated within the video file itself, which when loaded into Infinity Set allows to introduce both people and 3D elements within said video as augmented reality.
