Argentina. Axon and Viditec, recently associated in the commercialization and support of the entire line of products developed by the Dutch company, will be present at Caper 2015 with a wide deployment of the portfolio, bringing all the novelties of the brand to the local market. Axon is one of the pioneers in technology.
At the fair you will be able to see the Axon products and experience the operation of the SynMC, switcher master and 3G / HD / SD branding system of maximum flexibility, expandable to the different needs of the user, and with unparalleled control capabilities, both by software and hardware. Its external panel with built-in redundant power supply includes 17 fully user-definable color LCD function keys, 16 LCD keys for each direct-acting (pre- and program) bus, and two built-in 6" full-color LCD touchscreens, allowing the operator to facilitate the usual audio and video setup, control, and monitoring tasks within Presentation Control.
The SynMC supports 2 external keyers and up to 4 internal keyers, 4GB of storage for images, dual 2D DVE, video and audio transitions, analog audio monitoring, analog audio voice-over, AES or embedded, among others. Integrated with AXON SynCross in the same chassis or independent chassis, it is capable of incorporating a 3G/HD/SD matrix of up to 40x40 inputs/outputs, giving greater flexibility to the system.
But it can also control external audio/video arrays depending on the customer's choice. Finally, the SynMC can be integrated with external multiviewers or incorporate in the same rack the Axon SynView multiviewer, capable of forming a multiple display system of up to 72 3G / HD / SD inputs in 4RU, with all the functions required in broadcast operations.
Another of the products that will be shown at Caper 2015 is the high-density modular router from Axon called SynCross, based on the Synapse family, with minimum modularity of 8x8 3Gb/s, HD, SD SDI, ASI/DVB or Composite (SD) per board, capable of being configured as a "square" or "non-square" matrix according to the SFP's that are available in their input and output ports.
One of the novelties of Axon recently launched at IBC, which will also be available at Caper 2015 is the Tide, the new high-density platform for high-quality encoding, decoding and streaming, for contribution and distribution of signals. This 1RU chassis, with redundant power supply and 6 slots available to accommodate multiple processing modules, can meet different applications such as: reception of terrestrial or satellite transmission of signals, encoding and decoding of video H.264 / MPEG-2 HD / SD 4: 2: 0 and 4: 2: 2, Conditional Access or BISS descrambling, multiplexing or re-multiplexing of programs, high-quality streaming over public or private networks.
In the AXON sector you can also request the demonstration of Cerebrum, AXON's multi-brand multi-device control and monitoring software, based on Windows operating systems. Cerebrum allows you to configure complex systems from multiple manufacturers in a short period of time, manage and report critical events or events of interest in a hierarchical way, control devices through a graphical and intuitive interface, maintain a workflow over time. By communicating IP/Ethernet with devices, and storing configurations in its SQL database, Cerebrum is able to adapt to any workflow and help improve the management and control of small or larger systems.
