International. Mobile Viewpoint announced the launch of WebStreamur, a new platform that delivers high-quality live video from anywhere on the web. WebStreamur uses Mobile Viewpoint's link technology to broadcast live from anywhere using linked IP channels.
WebStreamur's product range includes an application for MacBook, iPhone and Android and three dedicated devices. Use YouTube to deliver live streams through WebStreamur channels on any device and generate sponsor-based revenue.
It relies on Twitter for ads and instant feedback. The platform can be used for any event, but will focus on providing college sports content around the world. Linked wireless video transmitters and WebStreamur applications will unleash the full potential of unique sporting events no matter where and when they take place.
