New Art Digital, a Mexican film and television post-production company, completed a major upgrade to its Quantel iQ completion system for Stereo3D operations.
According to Javier Leal, director of New Art Digital, "we are the first post-production company in Mexico that offers services for stereo3D projects. We already have clients who are starting to work on Stereo3D, mainly for animation projects, but we are also negotiating various jobs on Stereo3D for commercial cinema."
Likewise, Leal said that in the coming years not only cinemas will be using Stereo3D but also television directors. "For example, the Televisa network has already made a stereo3D test transmission of a football match for cinema audiences. With iQ, we are positioned to serve on both sides of the business."
