Ross Video announced the Xpression Live CG character generator, a version of Xpression Designer exclusive to the CrossOver series of production switchers.
The system works with static graphics on a laptop or PC that has Nvidia Graphics, sending the images with alpha over a network directly to the Media Store channels of the CrossOver. "Still images are typically selected, rendered and airlifted in less than two seconds," says Dadice Ross, CEO of Ross Video. "Xpression offers a friendly playlist system that makes bringing the next image into the air as easy as pressing the space bar."
Xpression Designer can be upgraded at any time to a complete system that incorporates playout of moving images over HD-SDI.
