The Evertz 7832SVP-3G 3D stereoscopic video processor module is part of the second generation of multipurpose modules designed to aid in the production and post-production of 3D videos in high definition.
The 7800 series comes with right eye and left eye inputs and processed outputs. It also provides mixed outputs that are the combination of both inputs and a formatted 3D output for 3D flat monitors. This is a 1.5 Gb/s and 3 Gb/s HD serial output that allows 3D projection on devices enabled in the following modes: Top/Bottom split, Left/Right split, Pixel Checkerboard, formats specified to match the resolution of the display, regardless of the input format.
Other particularities of the processing of the 7832SVP-3G include: Horizontal flip for left or right eye input. In addition, a programmable horizontal or vertical displacement can be applied to each of the eyes. Finally, there is a way to compensate for cameras that are mounted upside down.
