Linear Acoustic announced that Univision selected its ten-channel volume control system, AERO.air 5.1, as an audio processing solution.
AERO.air 5.1 features a robust design and ability to handle HD/SDI embedded audio, has a built-in AC-3 Dolby encoder, crowd control, and can handle upcoming technologies such as Mobile Hand/Held, Dolby AC-3 and E decoded/encoded, as well as Nielsen encoding for code retrieval.
The system includes multiple volume controllers, dual upmixing and metadata management, as well as two full-time channels for downmixing that support analog or stereo inputs. Univision also selected additional HD/SD-SDI inputs for its AERO.air models.
In addition, Univision will have the option to easily update the most advanced features via USB to ensure that its stations are always equipped with the latest equipment.
