Boris FX, developer of integrated effects technology for video and cinema, released Boris XML Transfer, a new Adobe After Effects plug-in designed for transferring sequences from Apple Final Cut Pro to Adobe After Effects. The new app preserves all aspects of a Final Cut Pro project, including effects, audio, media clips, transitions, and geometric transformations.
With Boris XML Transfer, clips remain fully editable in Adobe After Effects. It also has full compatibility with Boris Continuum Complete and Final Effects, providing the same look and keyframe values for each parameter.
In addition, many of the native effects of Final Cut Pro are moved within the corresponding features of After Effects that match the effects and their behavior within the program. QuickTime-based files are also immediately available in After Effects without the need for file transcoding or duplication.
