The E Series is numbered from 1 to 24 on both the front and back panel, to make it easier to identify circuits and simplify system design changes.
It is built in a larger and more spacious WECO format, which facilitates the connection work, and includes front jacks that significantly facilitate testing and replacements, adjusted to SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M standards, with a real impedance of 75 ohms and very low return loss.
The jacks can be ordered in four different configurations (self-normaling/terminating; self-normaling/non-terminating; non-normaling / terminating; and non-normaling /non-terminating)..
In addition to all 3 Gb/s bandwidth applications, such as SD/SDI, HD/SDI, AES, and high-resolution graphics, the E-Series is also designed for analog applications such as monitoring routing, primary routing, router backup, and video distribution.
