The line of Servo-based Pan/Tilt units of Telemetrics, was expanded to include a new model that provides more efficiency and reliability to production environments. Pan/Tilt HEAD PT-CP-S4 offers side camera mounting, a Powerful DC-DC converter for power supply through of a long series of cables, a newly designed system for cable management and serial data control with a multiprocessor architecture, which makes it one of the most versatile and effective Pan/Tilt heads on the market.
The PT-CP-S4 can be configured with the camera mounted to the side or above, both straight and inverted. A powerful DC-DC converter at the base of the head Pan/Tilt converts 48V to appropriate voltage levels for the head, devices auxiliary robotics, camera, lenses and viewfinders. And when the PT-CP-S4 is used with power supplier PS-RM-48V, from Telemetrics, you can increase the length of the cables between the control location of the power provider and the unit Pan/Tilt.
The unit is controlled by means of serial data that they use RS-232 or RS-422 and also features a multiprocessor with RISC-based servo controllers (Computer with Reduced Instruction Set).
