Wondertouch, developer of High performance software, announced that B 1 Media, a company of specialized Los Angeles-based production services in menus for DVD and DVD game production, selected the award-winning tool for creating particle effects particleIllusion to bring animated actions and 3D scenes to life illustrating aspects of ancient Egyptian life, in the upcoming documentary The Book of the Dead Egyptian, from history channel.
Recognized for its ability to allow artists to view a preview of real-time effects and customize them quickly and easily, the effects team of B 1 Media took advantage of the qualities of particleIllusion to create atmospheric and climatic effects such as sandstorms, clouds of dust and steam.
The Book of the Dead Egyptian tells the story of a young man who seeks the true meaning behind the ancient text a group of mortuary spells written on papyrus covered with magical texts who were buried with the dead to guide them on their journey to through the underworld and help them find bliss afterwards of death -. The documentary is scheduled to air on the History Channel in the second half of 2006.
