Ross Video announced its partnership with the company Claratech, specialized in the conversion of digital video by optical fiber. This technology will be incorporated within the openGear product line, recently launched.
openGear is a standard open frame based on a modular rear panel of 2RU rack, which can hold up to 10 modules of cards of any kind. OpenGear modules are available from a selection of openGear partners, which allows customers the flexibility to select the best module for your applications.
Customers are no longer tied up to a manufacturer's standard rack and modules for its terminal equipment solutions. openGear also provides the platform of a system controlled from the web, which allows the quick and easy control and monitoring of racks and modules through the network.
This is the fourth member to be joins the Ross Video openGear team and that includes Cobalt Digital, Ward-Beck, Ross Video and recently Claratech.
