JVC ProHD Users can now register, edit and go on the air faster than before. Apple's upgrade to Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 provides support for native 60p editing to camera users GY-HD250 and GY-HD200 ProHD from JVC. And with version 3.0 of the DR-HD100 hard disk burner, users can record HDV 720 files at 60p and 50p and directly access files in Final Cut Pro version 6.0.2.
With the function of direct file access, from JVC, ProHD users can burn in Apple QuickTime format directly to disc hard, no need for file transfer or conversion. ProHD users need to only drag the files directly to the Final Cut Pro timeline 6.0.2. Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 allows native editing of the format HDV 720 in ProHD at 60p, 50p, 30p and 24p. And being that the files are not converted or transcoded, maintain their quality original through the entire workflow.
Version 3.0 of the recorder DR-HD100, designed and built by Focus Enhancements under the JVC specifications, adds auto-reel functions to help the production process, by securing users easy identification of clips in the editing system. With auto-reel, users can assign clips to preset rolls on the disc. Once a roll is selected, all subsequent clips will be automatically located on the same roll until the user selects a new clip or disable the auto-reel function.
