Vitec Group plc, through its Videocom division, is planning to open its first office in South America, which would be located in São Paulo, Brazil.
According to Joop Janssen, head of Vitec's Videocom division, "Broadcasters in Brazil and throughout South America have extensive knowledge in the art and science of broadcasting, from content creation, to capture and broadcast. Our brands span a broad spectrum of the industry. including lighting, camera support, batteries, suitcases and transmission equipment, and have been widely used in Brazil for several years."
According to Janssen, despite the reception of its products in South America, the company recognizes the benefits of being geographically close to its distributors and customers. Therefore, opening a new office in Brazil gives them the ability to respond quickly to the needs and requirements of their partners and users in a timely manner.
Videocom division brands include: Anton Bauer, Autoscript, Litepanels, Nucomm, OConnor, Petrol Bags, RF Central, Sachtler, Vinten and Vinten Radamec.
