Sachtler, in addition to its camera mount systems, also offers a complete portfolio of lighting products for reporting and study. New and innovative products exhibited at NAB included the multifunctional support system Soom for cameras, an upgrade to the artemis ACT 2 C spring arm in carbon fiber, the artemis ACT 2 Vest, and the LED lighting Reporter 8.
Soom is the first multifunctional system for the Support Mini DV cameras to HDV camcorders. Soom is configured as four support tools: Soom TriPod, HiPod, Monopod and a baby tripod, quickly and easily, without tools.
Sachtler also presents its first lighting system LED over camera: Reporter 8 LED. This new accessory of Lighting, compact and powerful, requires an energy input of only 8 watts, which produces a light of 250 lumens of exit. With an input voltage range of 6 to 24 volts, this accessory is ideal for working with all kinds of equipment, from compact 7.2 volt HDV camcorders, to popular cameras for broadcasting.
