Kroma just received three orders of more than four hundred TFT monitors for different studios and mobile units of Spanish public television. This purchase, which is part of the progressive replacement of the Tube monitors for others flat screen, it is intended both for studies and for mobile units of Prado del Rey, Torrespaña, and the Production Center of San Cugat.
TVE has trusted new in Kroma monitors since, in addition to the obvious advantages of this new technology (lower weight, space and temperature), are the only ones able to match the quality of the TRC. On the other hand, TFT (Thin Film Transistor) monitors lack geometry and linearity errors, so the maintenance is minimal.
In this very competitive market, few manufacturers can supply a TFT monitor for use broadcast with the resolution, contrast and viewing angle of those acquired by TVE. For the numerous broadcasts sports, TVE demanded that monitors have the minimum possible delay. The 10 milliseconds of Kroma TFTs allow that rapid movements (athletes, panning) appear fluid, no jumps.
The order includes different sizes: in addition to the new triple screen TFT (LM6005), it comprises the 9, 15 and 18 inches, incorporating PC input, two analog and two digital inputs, in addition to desembebedor of audio and remote control.
Monitors come with two analog and two digital inputs, which the user can activate whenever you want using a password. Thus, it is not necessary insert any board or disassemble the monitor rack to activate some entry. The monitor can use analog inputs and, when digital tickets are needed, purchase the password to activate them using a simple OSD menu.
