Grass Valley has just presented at the Broadcast & Cable fair in Brazil new improvements in its HD cameras, production switchers, servers and editing systems. In addition, it made a special demonstration of 3D technology, using its T2 digital disc smart recorder (iDDR, pictured) as a fully synchronized power supply of the right eye and left eye images to present them on a 3D monitor that requires the use of passive stereoscopic glasses.
Another attraction of Grass Valley at the fair was the LDK 8300 Super SloMo camera working in conjunction with HD K2 Solo and K2 Summit production customers, and with the K2 Dyno replay system, which provides a powerful and economical live slow motion solution.
