Grass Valley is working with Vivesta, a broadcasting software company based in Hilversum, Netherlands, to distribute channel management options as well as solutions for content management and automation, for small and medium broadcasters.
These solutions will include Grass's K2 media server Valley, and scalable management software for broadcast and for automatic coding for workflows, MediaFlow.
Designed for multi-channel broadcast environments, the tight integration of the K2 server with the software of Vivesta provides customers with a complete management of channels and a reliable and flexible solution for management of contents. The broadcast schedules and operations of Playback can be managed and monitored from any part through network navigation interfaces for Users. The Modular System Approach to Management of MediaFlow channels in combination with Grass's K2 server Valley, offers customers a reliable platform, which gives the option to scale it to a more advanced solution for multi-channel playback if necessary.
MediaFlow can be extended with one or more applications modular for workflow, such as programming, modules for device automation for the control of routers, transcoders, graphics servers and video servers.
