Harris announced that the mobile TV platform for ATSC will be ready in March 2009. This technology allows offer a range of broadcast quality video services and data to a variety of mobile devices.
During the recent CES expo in Las Vegas, Harris presented a series of live ATSC Mobile demonstrations. This technology is a candidate to be recognized as a standard by part of the ATSC Committee.
Harris' full platform includes the Apex exciter M2X and the NetVX network platform, also from Harris, including encoder, multiplexer and encapsulator.
Harris also works with Roudbox and Triveni Digital to integrate interactive programming guide services for program and data streams on your mobile video platform digital.
