Leitch Technology Corporation announced that the acquisition of the corporation has been completed Inscriber Technology, a privately held software company for video based in Waterloo, Ontario.
"We believe that the integration of the complementary product line of Signing up with Leitch's existing offerings will benefit our customers said Tim Thorsteinson, president and member of the board of directors of Leitch Technology. We hope this acquisition will allow the company to expand our product line, adding graphics for broadcasting, content authorship and logo generation capabilities. We are extremely proud to have Inscriber as part of the Leitch team."
For its part, Videotek, company acquired by Leitch last year, he named Bob Landingham in the position of Commercial Vice President for the Americas.
Landingham joined Videotek at 1999 as regional commercial manager, satisfying successfully the needs of distributors and customers to the length and breadth of south-central United States, Mexico, and America Latin.
Carl Amend to take over management regional commercial for the south central United States, Mexico and Latin America. Before working at Videotek, Amend worked at Harris Corporation as a domestic channel manager and at ADC Telecommunications as regional commercial manager. Amend se graduated from the University of Oklahoma and is an active member of SMPTE and SBE.
