Brazil. Sony held in Brazil a new edition of Image Experience, a 4-day meeting that reaffirms the evolution of the Alpha ecosystem as a point of convergence between the advanced consumer market and the professional world.
The day brought together creators, filmmakers, commercial photographers, producers and directors in the prestigious Japan House space, a space with a history of promoting visual culture, which coincides with Sony on the need to promote creativity and create community.
More than a product launch, the event became a space of connection for content creators, filmmakers, commercial photographers, producers and audiovisual professionals who today operate in a hybrid environment where the boundaries between the "pro" and the "prosump" are increasingly connected production dynamics.
During the event, attendees were able to explore a carefully curated portfolio that included state-of-the-art cameras from the Cinema Line, such as BURANO and VENICE 2, in addition to the most recent release in the Alpha series: the A7M5. The tour was complemented by G Master lenses and professional workflow solutions that are integrated into a single ecosystem designed for hybrid flows.
Uniting the prosumed and professional worlds
Image Experience stood out for demonstrating how Sony has developed a scalable technological ecosystem that accompanies the creator at all stages of their career: from their first digital productions to high-level film projects. E-mount compatibility, color science consistency, and cross-line integration like Alpha and Cinema Line allow for frictionless transition between formats and production demands.
"This type of meeting reinforces our commitment to innovation and to the creative community in the region by bringing the main global innovations and the wide portfolio of solutions to Latin American professionals," said Ana Malerbi, marketing manager of Sony Brazil.
Expansion of the Alpha Partners program in Brazil
As part of the event, the expansion of the Alpha Partners programme, an initiative that brings together photographers and filmmakers who act as Sony ambassadors, was announced. The program strengthens dialogue with the community, fosters knowledge exchange, and connects Brazilian creators with regional and international opportunities.
"Alpha Partners are on the front lines, pushing our technologies to the limit and embodying the spirit of Kando," said Malerbi. "His vision and expertise enrich the entire community and allow us to continue to evolve the Sony ecosystem."
Photographer and filmmaker Mari Martins continues as a member of the program, now accompanied by new talents with diverse specialties that reflect the breadth of the Brazilian audiovisual market.
