Mexico. Sony Professional Solutions Latin America presented in Mexico City its new LiveXperience by Sony initiative, a meeting that brought together broadcast experts, content creators and media to discover the latest solutions in live production.
The initiative integrates hardware, software and cloud services designed to optimize workflows, reduce operational times and raise the quality of multiplatform broadcasting.
In an environment where the convergence of television, streaming and digital content redefines the way video is produced and distributed, Sony is powering an offering that combines low-latency IP encryption, remote control, cloud orchestration and open protocol-based streams (SRT, NDI, ST 2110). These technologies ensure maximum interoperability, operational flexibility and cost savings for producers, broadcasters and studios of any scale.
Among the solutions presented is the M2LX, a software-based production switcher that brings live operation to IP and cloud environments with the flexibility of a modular architecture. Its support for open standards and web-based control tools simplify automation and distributed work. With low latency, mission-critical redundancy, and subscription licensing, M2LX offers an efficient way to expand capacity and accelerate live content delivery.
Sony's line of professional cameras complements this proposition with models that combine versatility, reliability and image excellence for all types of production.
These include the HXC-FZ90, ideal for studios and live events with HD/UHD broadcast performance and high sensitivity; the BRC-AM7 and SRG-A40 robotic cameras, which provide precise PTZ control and remote operation with impeccable quality; and the PXW-Z200, a compact and robust handheld camera designed for mobile coverage.
All incorporate Sony's own technologies, such as Exmor/Exmor R sensors, BIONZ processing and S-Log/HLG profiles for HDR, which ensure faithful colour reproduction, wide dynamic range and sharp detail even in challenging light conditions.
"At Sony, we seek to simplify live production flows without losing the technological power that distinguishes us. LiveXperience reflects our vision of offering scalable solutions that adapt to both small teams and large-scale broadcast operations," said Gonzalo Gamio, sales support manager for Sony Professional Solutions Latin America.
Through these innovations and exclusive experiences, Sony reinforces its commitment to the growth of the audiovisual industry in Latin America, offering solutions that optimize the processes of creation, production and distribution of live content.
LiveXperience by Sony will expand to other countries in the region in 2026, bringing technological innovation to more professionals and local markets.
