Brazil. MEIKE Digital Technology, a manufacturer of film equipment specialising in lenses and accessories, has arrived in Brazil to consolidate its presence with its exclusive distributor Pinnacle Group, which is working to consolidate it through events and initiatives with its official distributors.
MEIKE lenses are very popular in the US market for their high quality at an affordable price, as well as for their versatility by being able to switch between PL or EF frames and their accessories, such as lens converters with ND filters.
MEIKE products available in Brazil include:
- CINE Prime lenses, divided into Full Frame Prime, Super35 Prime and Mini Prime
- CAMERA lenses, with manual or autofocus options
- Lens adapters for PL or EF lenses
- Accessories such as flashes, grips, extension tubes, and mount swap kits
A highlight of the brand is its lens kits, which can consist of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7 lenses, from FF (Full Frame) to S35 (Super35mm). Users can also choose from 16/24/35/50/85/105/135mm models in PL/EF/E/RF mounts.
Another highlight of our success is our FF lenses with autofocus, f1.4 and f1.8 apertures, with E or Z mounts, which offer the best value for money on the market (approx. $329 in the US).
As part of the efforts to promote the brand in the country, the Pinnacle Group has carried out various initiatives, such as the presentation of its FF lenses at SET EXPO 2025 and participation in film events such as the Filmmakers' Summit, the ABC Rio Meeting, among others.
"We are extremely pleased to have been chosen as the brand's Exclusive Distributor, just as we have done with other major brands such as Blackmagic Design, E-Image and others. We know that the challenge is significant for the Brazilian market, where we have several other brands, but when market professionals recognize the high quality of our lenses, we know that we are on the right track," said Ricardo Lopez, President and Founder of the Pinnacle Group.
In addition to participating in these events, the Pinnacle Group collaborates with various professionals in the film industry, such as the prestigious and renowned cinematographer and professor at the ESPC (São Paula School of Cinematography), Dr. Alziro Barbosa, who has already tested and approved the quality of the lenses in his productions.
In addition to this initiative, MEIKE lenses were used in the documentary "We Need to Listen", produced by the streaming channel FatoFlix, in co-production with NAU Filmes, and directed by journalist and filmmaker Rodrigo Petterson. It will be screened on November 5 during the meeting "Dialogues in Motion - Brazil-France Year", which will be attended by Presidents Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Emmanuel Macron.
The film, which addresses social and environmental issues relevant to Brazil and France, will also be part of the official program of COP30, which is scheduled to be screened on November 11, reinforcing its commitment to the global debate on sustainability, social justice and the future of the planet.
"Being together with these professionals who are part of the history of Brazilian cinema is very important for the Pinnacle Group and for MEIKE. Having the acceptance and approval of these professionals fills us with enthusiasm and confidence that the brand will be a new option for film and photography lenses in the global market. We will closely follow this movement and, as always, support the Brazilian market," says Fabio Angelini, Commercial Director of the Pinnacle Group.
