Peru. Sony Profesional reaffirms its commitment to education and technological development in Latin America through partnerships with academic institutions that seek to modernize their infrastructure and offer more innovative learning experiences.
Within the framework of the XI Lima Film Week, Sony participates with a specialized workshop entitled "Narratives in Motion: Innovation and Technique in Video", an experience created for students and professionals in the audiovisual sector who seek to expand their knowledge in digital workflows and new tools for content creation.
The workshop will include a hands-on demonstration of the BURANO, Sony's digital cinema model that combines cinematic quality with the operational efficiency demanded by new production environments. This activity is part of the work that Sony Professional Solutions Latin America (PSLA) has been developing with universities and educational centers in the region, bringing solutions that improve the quality of teaching and promote practical training in technology.
"Our goal is to strengthen the educational and professional ecosystem in Latin America, helping universities incorporate technological tools that better prepare their students for the challenges of the world of work. Whether through audiovisual solutions, cloud collaboration flows or remote production systems, we seek to promote learning and innovation from the classroom," said Gonzalo Gamio, Product Marketing Manager of Corporate Solutions at Sony Professional Solutions Latin America.
In this regard, Sony promotes the use of technologies such as PTZ cameras, remote production systems, cloud collaboration flows (CI Cloud) and virtual production tools, which allow universities to offer immersive experiences that are up-to-date with global trends in the audiovisual and education industry.
In addition, initiatives such as the Education Summit and joint training programs with universities reinforce Sony's commitment to lifelong learning and professional development. Through these spaces, the exchange of knowledge between academics, students and industry experts is encouraged, promoting a more connected and innovative educational community.
Participation in the Lima Film Week is just one example of Sony PSLA's work to bring technology closer to education, strengthening creativity, collaboration and competitiveness for future generations in an environment where learning and innovation advance hand in hand.
