Latin America. Lawo has announced that Eduardo Andrade will strengthen the company's commercial activities in Latin America, effective immediately.
In his new role, Andrade will drive Lawo's sales and business development initiatives in Latin America, working closely with regional partners, clients and the global sales team to strengthen Lawo's presence and deliver innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of broadcasters, production companies and media organizations in the region.
Commenting on the collaboration with Eduardo, Carl Perry, Sales Director EMEA and LatAm emphasized the importance of the new role: "Expanding Lawo's presence in Latin America is key to our success in the region. Eduardo brings vast experience in partner-focused growth strategies and knowledge of the broadcasting and media sector in Central and South America. Their collaborative style will allow us to expand our business through our extensive partner network."
Andrade has more than 15 years of experience in the professional audio, video and broadcast industry, specializing in the design and delivery of complex workflows, including film studios, post-production and Dolby Atmos music, audio over IP networking and control surface integration. Most recently, he founded Andrade Audio, a company that offers advanced studio workflow designs, system integration, training, and system calibration services.
Previously, he worked for more than a decade at Avid Technology, where he held various commercial and technical positions, leading the company's audio business strategy for Latin America.
During his tenure, he managed a wide network of distributors, delivered high-impact technical training, conferences and consulting, and was repeatedly recognized with Top Performer and Chairman's Circle awards for his excellent sales performance.
His experience also encompasses prestigious live events and high-profile art projects. He was part of the music production team for the Closing Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, collaborated with Dolby on pioneering Atmos initiatives and contributed to the music production of acclaimed artists, earning two Latin Grammy nominations in 2013. His portfolio also includes audiovisual work for Discovery Channel, TV Globo, Multishow and technical support in important events such as Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza Brasil.
