Colombia. The ICT Ministry announced the 63 winning projects of the Abre Cámara 2025 call, which will receive an investment of more than $13,900 million to strengthen public television and the country's audiovisual ecosystem.
The announcement was made during a live event from the facilities of the regional channel Telepacífico, which was attended by some participants of the call and representatives of the sector.
The broadcast was broadcast through the social networks of public television and the ICT Ministry, allowing thousands of people throughout the country to follow the revelation of the results in real time.
The selected projects were evaluated by a committee of national and international experts and are part of six categories focused on the promotion of regional production, content of ethnic communities, community television, and the construction of peace and reconciliation.
This edition of Abre Cámara received 605 applications, a figure that shows the creative force of the Colombian audiovisual sector and the Ministry's commitment to supporting the stories that connect the country.
"We celebrate the winners of Abre Cámara 2025, because behind each selected project there is a powerful story with the potential to transform territories. This call reaffirms our commitment to a public television that represents, connects and generates opportunities throughout the country," said the Minister of ICT, Julián Molina.
From the official publication of results, the winning producers must advance in the next stages of the process, in accordance with the execution schedule defined in the terms of reference of the call. These include:
- Signing of contracts, management of policies and administrative procedures.
- Delivery of production schedules and technical content.
- Monitoring, execution and supervision by the technical team of the ICT Ministry.
