Colombia. The Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies issued Resolution 03029 of July 24, 2025, which updates the rates of radio frequencies for the 2025 term assigned to privately operated national channels and local for-profit and non-profit stations, in accordance with the provisions of CNTV Resolutions 429 of 1997 and 111 of 1998.
The update of the value of VHF and UHF frequencies was carried out in accordance with the provisions of CNTV Resolutions 429 of 1997 and 111 of 1998, taking into account the Consumer Price Index (CPI) certified by DANE for the year 2024, which was 5.20%. Based on this, the new values are as follows:
VHF frequency: $5,764,299
UHF frequency: $5,187,885
This update is carried out in compliance with the function of the ICT Ministry to administer and set the rates associated with the concession and use of the radio spectrum, established in numeral 24 of article 18 of Law 1341 of 2009.
The draft regulation was published on the Ministry's website for citizen consultation, between July 4 and 19, 2025, without receiving any comments from interest groups and citizens in general.
