Latin America. Brainstorm launched Suite 6.1, the latest version of its eStudio, InfinitySet and Aston products, which is designed to transform broadcast, virtual production and XR/AR workflows, and adds a number of new features that enhance content creation possibilities by facilitating the creation of high-quality virtual content, while helping to improve storytelling.
It provides great integration with Unreal Engine 5.4, being able to perfectly control UE5 from the InfinitySet interface itself, significantly improving the user's ability to manage, edit and control planes, objects and UE properties. In addition, the combination of the Unreal Engine render with the eStudio rendering engine itself is fully transparent, so that the user can effectively decide which objects or parts of the scene should be rendered in which engine.
This is reinforced by the enhanced Unreal Composer, which simplifies the integration of real video sources (such as embedded characters) within an Unreal Engine scene. The composer combines the functions of Unreal Engine with the exclusive TrackFree™ capabilities of Brainstorm, multiplying the possibilities of each engine.
One of the most impressive aspects of Suite 6 is its ability to deliver high-performance virtual production using just one workstation, thanks to the new NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Ada Generation GPU. This optimization reflects Brainstorm's commitment to sustainability, as reducing hardware requirements helps customers reduce their carbon footprint, energy consumption, and overall costs.
InfinitySet now supports Dual-GPU workstations, allowing rendering tasks to be distributed between two GPUs. This advancement improves rendering quality and performance, especially in XR environments, reducing hardware costs and simplifying workflows. Features such as XR Config and CalibMate streamline setup and calibration processes with mathematical precision, minimizing human error.
Aston receives several new features that increase the capabilities of the graphics solution for collaborative workflows. The new Graphic Instances feature greatly simplifies the design process by providing better control for lead designers, as they can not only create parts and concepts that the rest of the team then uses to produce all the necessary versions, but also ensure that essential looks and updates can be applied directly, without the intervention of the rest of the team.
Aston's StormLogic now includes new transitions and interactions between templates that greatly improve the visual impact of the graphics broadcast. In addition, Aston incorporates a suite of tools for creating interactive projects that can be used with a touchscreen. These tools allow you to create specific buttons to trigger actions and support multi-touch gestures.
Miguel Churruca, Marketing and Communication Director at Brainstorm, highlighted the importance of Suite 6.1: "The new Suite 6.1 represents a great leap forward for the Brainstorm product range. Not only does it refine an already sought-after line of solutions for broadcast, film and enterprise, but it also integrates features that users have been requesting in their quest to create more advanced, engaging and engaging virtual content."
